The traditional style of wooden architecture from Zakopane. Zakopane Style is an architecure style at the turn of the 20th century. Inspired by the folk art of south mountains region known as Podhale and combined with modern construction techniques.

At that time Poland did nit exist on the map and was divided into 3 parts by Russia, Germany and Austria. Zakopane style was not only art but also the way to find own architecture style to prepare free and indepenedent country. Happily in 1918 Poland stayed independent and an architecture had own small part in this.Back
